Professor Christina Greene discussed her latest book, FREE JOAN LITTLE: The Politics of Race, Sexual Violence and Imprisonment, as a part of the Schomburg series: Conversations in Black Freedom Studies on March 7th. Greene was joined by scholars Scholars Anastasia Curwood and Suzanne Cope to discuss the role of Black women in movements for justice and equality throughout the 19th and 20th centuries.
