A Cookies with the Collective workshop:
Morgan Jerald is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at UW–Madison, where she runs the Intersectionality and Marginalization (I.AM) Lab. Her research examines how sociocultural factors, such as media portrayals and group stereotypes, shape the health, well-being, and development of Black women and girls. She is especially interested in how people recognize, resist, and thrive in spite of these images.
