Our two new Assistant Professors met for the first time this week. Dr. Jessica Lee Stovall just received her PhD from Stanford in Race, Inequality, and Language in Education, Curriculum and Teacher Education and Dr. Andrene Wright (in the white shirt) received her PhD in Political Science and African American Studies from Northwestern last year and had a Presidential Postdoctoral Reasearch Fellow at Penn State during the 2022-2023 academic year. Both will have an Anna Julia Cooper Fellowship during the 2023-2024. Please welcome Drs. Stovall and Wright!
